Alternative Turn-Off Method # 3 – Detach the Spark Wire and Plug
The third method for safely turning off your Honda mower that isn’t responding is to detach the spark wire from the plug, which will disable the engine. By shutting the mower off in this manner, you prevent the blade from being able to start. Next, using a screwdriver, remove the screws to move the transmission cover of the machine.
